Who Management talent agency reviews: An in-depth look at Who Management, a model and talent management company with a focus on diverse representation, you will find Pros, Cons & Expert Verdict on this page along with talent comments and reviews.
Overview of Who Management
Who Management is a talent management company, not a traditional talent agency, meaning they focus on guiding and developing their clients’ careers rather than solely securing bookings or contracts. Established in 2012, Who Management is primarily based in Hawaii, with affiliate offices in Los Angeles and New York. With over 20 years of collective experience among its team, the company specializes in representing models and actors across commercial, high-fashion, and entertainment sectors. Known for its diverse client roster, Who Management has placed talent in prominent publications like Vibe, W, and Elle, as well as in television shows on networks such as NBC, ABC, CBS, and Telemundo. The company emphasizes professional development, client satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships, making it a notable player in the talent management landscape. The official website can be found here.
Services and Specializations
Who Management offers a multidisciplinary approach to talent management, catering to both emerging and established talent. Their services include:
- Model and Talent Development: Guiding high-fashion models and actors, with a focus on commercial, print, and television opportunities.
- Brand Development: Assisting clients in building their brands for commercial, hospitality, and retail projects.
- Media Exposure: Securing placements in high-profile publications and TV networks, leveraging their industry connections.
- Global Reach: Operating through affiliates in California and Asia, offering opportunities in international markets.
The company is particularly recognized for its work in high-fashion modeling and commercial acting, with a commitment to promoting diversity and individuality in the entertainment industry.
Reputation and Client Success
Who Management has developed a growing reputation, particularly within the Hawaii market, as a talent management company focused on securing opportunities in notable projects. Their clients have been featured in fashion magazines and television shows, reflecting their ability to provide some high-visibility placements. The company emphasizes teamwork and ethical business practices, which contribute to a positive environment for talent. While primarily based in Hawaii, their presence in the LA market is expanding, with affiliate offices helping to connect talent with casting opportunities in Los Angeles. However, as a smaller agency, they may have fewer resources compared to larger firms like CAA or WME, explore Who Management’s IMDB Portfolio.
Pros
- Strong focus on diverse representation, ideal for talents seeking inclusive management.
- Proven success in placing clients in high-profile publications and TV networks.
- Multidisciplinary services, covering both modeling and acting across commercial and high-fashion sectors.
- Emphasis on professional development and long-term client relationships.
- Growing presence in the LA market through affiliate offices, enhancing access to major entertainment hubs.
Cons
- Headquartered in Hawaii, which may involve coordination challenges for LA-based talent.
- Smaller company size could mean fewer resources compared to industry giants.
- Limited public reviews from LA-based clients, making it harder to gauge local performance.
- May not be ideal for talent seeking management for A-list or large-scale productions.
Who Should Consider Who Management?
Who Management may be a suitable option for newer models and actors, particularly those exploring opportunities in commercial and fashion sectors. The agency emphasizes diversity and development, which could appeal to individuals seeking a more personalized management approach. While they have expanded into the Los Angeles market, their scale and reach remain more limited compared to larger, full-service firms. Professionals pursuing high-level opportunities in major productions may wish to explore larger agencies such as United Talent Agency or Creative Artists Agency. For those based in Hawaii, or considering opportunities through LA and NY connections, Who Management could be worth evaluating based on individual goals and preferences.
Our Verdict
Who Management is an established talent management company with a strong presence in Hawaii and a growing footprint in Los Angeles and New York. The agency highlights its focus on diversity, client development, and professional standards. While it may not operate at the scale of larger LA-based firms, its personalized approach and history of client placements suggest it may be a suitable option for individuals pursuing opportunities in modeling and commercial acting. We recommend contacting the agency directly to inquire about their current submission process and representation criteria.
Who Management talent agency reviews:
Great Agency
I really enjoy working with them, they gave me many auditions and I was finally booked for a project that starts shooting next month.
If you are someone just starting in the industry I recommend Who Management.
A good agency option
Getting hard copies of headshots felt unnecessary at first, but the agency explained how they still help at workshops and showcases. They were right I handed mine out at a networking event and got two follow-up calls from casting assistants. Definitely a good investment.
Good experience overall
This was my first experience with an agency. They reached out to me after I attended a talent convention, and they have been very kind to guide me through the different processes with patience.
Each talent is special!
I like that this agency has an Individualized approach; they work 1 on 1 with me; in my opinion, recognizing that each talent has unique aspirations and needs is one of the most important things for a management agency. I had attended a few previous screen tests or auditions where I ended up with a very short participation in a meeting with a lot of other people, and felt so invisible. This was very different; they made me feel valued!
When I first signed with this agency, I wasn’t sure what to expect
I had worked with two other agencies before and felt like just another number. Within the first month, I was already auditioning for bigger projects than I ever had. My agent gave me detailed feedback after every self-tape, even sending me example clips to help me improve. I’ve now booked two commercials and a recurring role on a streaming series.

I sent in My headshot and resume and they never got back to me
I have enjoyed working with them so far.
They are nice, I got a few gigs, since I started a few months ago for fun. I had to cancel one or two, but you can simply email or text, and they can adjust you booking profile for availability.
Commissions
They’re knowledgeable, but the commission rate is a bit high compared to other agencies I’ve worked with.
consistent
Who Management and their team have helped me improve my professional profile, and they consistently send over auditions through CN. I also had some classes with an acting coach they recommended which were free. I’m feeling great so far!
Response from Reviews
Well, if they did not ask you to pay for classes, and if they were free, then you are good.
I booked my first in-person audition
When the agency suggested I print hard copies of my headshots, I thought it was old-school. But they explained that some casting directors still prefer to have a physical copy in hand. They even recommended a printing lab, and the results were stunning — glossy, vibrant, and professional. I booked my first in-person audition two weeks later.
Do you guys know anything recent about this agency?
I just received an email from them to have a interview, have anyone interviewed with them?
Response from Reviews
They are active and have a CN profile, submitting their talent for work. You just need to check if this would be a good option for your career.
I think they are professional and helpful
We’ve been doing some work with the studio they recommend, and the agents assisted me in creating good quality content to make sure I get my investment’s worth! Amazing!
Great experience
They asked me to get hard copies printed and even sent me the exact size, paper type, and finish to use. I followed their advice, and the prints came out gorgeous. I’ve been complimented on them more than once at auditions. Worth every penny
Good agency, need to work on communication
Communication needs improvement. I would highly recommend requesting regular meetings with the agents every few weeks/months, because they are super busy and sometimes don’t respond to messages right away. Other than that no issues.
They did not replied to my email.
I respectfully request the opportunity to display my skills and talent I have but they never got back to me.
The agency told me I needed hard copies of my headshots
The agency told me I needed hard copies of my headshots but didn’t offer much help finding an affordable printer. I ended up spending more than I expected. The prints looked nice, but I wish they had been more upfront about the cost from the start, however I have been booked for 3 project I already recoup my investment so it was worht it I just wish the Studio had payment plans
The agents are friendly and professional
I signed with Who Management last year, and I’m also signed with another agency in my area. While they work very differently, I am satisfied with the experience. They send me cool auditions, haven’t booked anything yet but I feel like I am learning a lot in the auditioning process.
I joined this agency with no prior on-camera experience
They took the time to walk me through the entire process of self-taping, auditioning, and preparing for callbacks. My first year was a learning curve, but they were patient and never made me feel like I was falling behind. By the end of the year, I had booked two indie films and a print campaign. Their belief in me helped me believe in myself.
Too much comission in my opinion
I decided not to move forward with them because they take 20% of anything you book, which I feel is excessive. I think 10 or 15 would be more fair, but they weren’t open to negotiating
Who Management only considers people that have been referred to or meet their standards, I feel there is no inclusion.
They only take people their agents or scouts know or referrals from people they have previously worked with. If you do not have that they will deny your application for that I would not recommend them.
good
I’ve worked with them for a few months, we have a 6-month contract, they seem professional so far, and the agents are straightforward and honest. I get like 1 or 2 auditions a month, approx, keeps me active, and it’s great practice, I hope to book something soon!
Engaging and informative!
The experience was engaging, and we learned so much! The meetings with the agents are super informative, and they are very kind.
Who Management is an amazing agency
Who Management is an amazing agency, and I’m especially grateful for my agent. She’s truly the best talent agent! She’s caring, patient and kind. With his guidance and support, I’ve been able to book auditions and grow.
Everyone is so professional and nice!
Adriana is the best and I feel like I am working with a group of people that truly care about me as an individual. I highly recommend this agency.
Great experience, helpful and kind
My little girl was signed with this agency for a few years, and we learned a lot during that time. Eventually, we decided to sign with another agency that offers exclusive contracts, but I think the non-exclusive contract was great to start her career and get her more opportunities.
I decided to move forward with them
I decided to move forward with them, and so far they have been nice and supportive. I have auditioned for some projects without success, however I was booked for 2 so far. It depends a lot on you; if you want to get booked for projects, they have some areas of improvement, like more active communication, but compared to my previous agency, they do better work.
Ryan
The agency is very strong in commercial and print work, and they’ve kept me consistently auditioning. My only wish is that they’d expand into more theater opportunities. Still, I appreciate how transparent they are about what’s available and what’s not.
Is Who Management a legit company?
I attended a talent convention I was told by Ann from Who Management they have my headshot on file I replied to them to schedule an interview everything looks ok for now I just want to ask if has worked with them and if it’s worth it?
The agency guided us step-by-step
My daughter is a teen model, and we were new to the industry when we signed. The agency guided us from building her portfolio to preparing her for her first runway event. They also educated us about contracts so we knew exactly what we were signing. She’s now booking regularly and gaining valuable experience without feeling overwhelmed.
I was skeptical to pay for headshots
I thought it was wired for them to ask for a hard copy headshot I told them can I pick my own printing lab and they said yes . So I just went with my own printer . Im not to sure if I made the right decision . But I just followed my gut and went with my own printer . It took a while to get them approved by my booker, but I got them and the printer shipped them to the agency and they are getting me auditions . I did land a key role on “Wednesday on Netflix “ which I’m proud of
